Real Talk Data Controller

When you book a meeting via our website or otherwise contact us via email, we process your personal data for the purpose of administering the meeting or the matter you need help with. The legal basis for our processing is Real Talk’s legitimate interest in identifying you and provide you with support relating to our services.
When you are a customer or supplier representative, we process your personal data for the purpose of administering our business relationship. The legal basis for our processing is our legitimate interest to establish and maintain business relationships with our customers and suppliers.
How is personal data collected?

When you are a customer or supplier representative, we collect personal data from you directly or indirectly in different ways, such as via our website and through our services, when you email us or attend a meeting with us.

Real Talk shares personal data with a few selected partners who help us fulfil our commitments to you. We only share and use personal data for the specified purposes described above.
Real Talk highly values security and has implemented necessary security measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, modification, and destruction. Where is personal data processed?
Real Talk processes personal data primarily within the EU/EEA. We may however also transfer personal data to a country outside the EU/EEA, if we use a supplier who uses servers or sub-suppliers outside the EU/EEA. Real Talk will take all appropriate technical, organizational and legal measures are implemented in such cases to ensure an adequate level of protection of the transferred personal data.
How long is the data retained?
When you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your personal data only for as long as we have your consent.
When you book a meeting via our website or otherwise contact us via email or phone, we store personal data processed for these purposes for up to 365 days. Our retention period is necessary to be able to help you with said matter and follow up on your relevant requests.
When you are a customer or supplier representative, we process your personal data for as long as we have an active business relationship with the company you represent and up to 365 days thereafter. We may store your personal data for a shorter period if you have been replaced by another company representative.
Real Talk intends to retain your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfil our commitments to you or as required by law and regulation. When your personal data will no longer be stored for the purposes specified above, personal data will be deleted or anonymized. We may however store personal data for a longer time period if we are required by law to do so (e.g. by virtue of tax, bookkeeping or accounting legislation).
